Mr. Delshad served two terms as the Mayor of Beverly Hills, starting in 2007. He pioneered “Smart City” initiatives that transformed the area into a model of technological advancement and security. In recognition of his contributions to the city, he holds the honorary title of “Goodwill Ambassador of Beverly Hills.”

Mr. Delshad also served as former President and Chairman of the Magbit Foundation. Magbit Foundation was established in 1990 to promote education for students seeking to complete their University studies. Magbit provides hundreds of thousands of dollars in loans and scholarships to deserving and qualified students each year. Loan and scholarship recipients are carefully selected from thousands of applicants by volunteer student loan committees. The students repay these loans, and the repaid funds are then used to provide new loans to a new cohort of qualified students. Therefore, every dollar donated provides generations of benefits.

Over the past two decades, Mr. Delshad has provided management consulting services, which include strategic advisory services across private, public, and non-profit sectors. He serves on several distinguished boards including The Maple Counseling Center, Mount Sinai Memorial Parks and Mortuaries, the Iranian American Jewish Federation, and the Iranian American Jewish Federation.

He also volunteers for such distinguished organizations including The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles, and fundraising for the Hillel at UCLA.

As the Chairman of Delshad Capital Group, he is a well-known management consultant, motivational speaker, and investor.
