Dr. Victoria Medvec
Board Nominee

Victoria has worked for more than 20 years as the Chief Executive Officer of Medvec and Associates, an advisory firm servicing more than a third of the Fortune 100 companies. Her expertise is advising on regulatory negotiating, partnerships, and global market access. Some of her clients have included Amgen, Sanofi, Astra Zeneca, Bristol Myers, Squibb, Pfizer and Gilead.
Victoria is a founding member of Extraordinary Woman on Board where her focus is on moving more women into senior leadership roles and onto the Boards of Directors of Fortune 1000 companies. She is a frequent speaker across the country on topics relating to women in leadership, corporate governance, and board decision-making. Her research has been published in top academic journals such as Psychological Review, and the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology. Victoria is the author of the best-selling book, “Negotiate Without Fear.”
She is an accomplished public and private board director, specializing in mergers and acquisitions, customer growth, revenue maximization, supply chain, human capital, and risk management with expertise in negotiations and decision-making to drive revenue expansion.
Victoria is the Adeline Barry Davee Professor of Management and Organizations at Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management where she has taught since 1995. She has won many awards including the Best of the Best award from the Young Presidents’ Organization and World Presidents’ Organization on multiple occasions. Research published in top journals and has been highlighted in the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, the Washington Post, and has appeared on the Today Show.
Victoria received her Bachelor of Arts from Bucknell University and her Ph.D. in Psychology from Cornell University
