Founded in 1880, the University of Southern California is a private research university in Los Angeles, California. The school comprises 22 undergraduate, graduate, and professional schools that enroll roughly 21,000 undergraduate and 28,500 post-graduate students from all 50 U.S. states and more than 115 countries.

The USC Medical Center is a 600-bed public teaching hospital. USC Medical is one of the largest public hospitals and medical training centers in the United States, and the largest single provider of healthcare in Los Angeles County. It provides healthcare services for the region’s medically underserved, is a Level I trauma center, and treats over 28 percent of the region’s trauma victims.

The Keck School of Medicine at USC is the second oldest medical school in California and has been consistently rated as one of the best schools for training physicians, biomedical scientists, and other healthcare professionals. Keck is also responsible for conducting leading clinical trials across as broad spectrum of investigation.

The Cleveland Clinic is a nonprofit medical center based in Cleveland, Ohio. The clinic runs a 170-acre campus in Ohio, as well as 11 affiliated hospitals and 19 family health centers in Northeast Ohio. It also operates hospitals in Florida and Nevada and has international operations in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates, Toronto, Canada, and a hospital campus in London in the United Kingdom

Ochsner Clinic Foundation (OCF), in Jefferson, Louisiana, is a part of the Ochsner Health System and hosts the organization’s headquarters. The Ochsner Health System Ochsner Health leads new treatments, deploys emerging technologies, and performs groundbreaking research, including 4,000 patients enrolled in 685 clinical studies in 2022. It has more than 37,000 employees and over 4,700 employed and affiliated physicians in over 90 medical specialties and subspecialties. It operates 46 hospitals and more than 370 health and urgent care centers. Since 2019, OCF has been consistently rated one of the US’ best hospitals by US News, and as the top hospital in Louisiana.

Wake Forest University (WFU) is a private research university in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, United States. Founded in 1834, WFU is affiliated with Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist, the academic medical center whose clinical arm is Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist. In 2021, U.S. News & World Report ranked WFUS’s School of Medicine 48th best for research in the nation and 80th best for primary care. The School of Medicine also ranks in the top third of U.S. medical schools in funding from the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The School of Medicine’s strong research focus is evident in its translational work, which raised about $345.5 million in licensing revenues from 2010-2014. The School of Medicine is a member of the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) and is accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME), which is jointly sponsored by the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association (AMA) and the AAMC.

Norwell Health Cancer Institute (NHCI) is a leading cancer research hospital located in New Hyde Park, NY. NHCI has more than 400 doctors specializing in nearly every type of cancer who deliver a full range of lifesaving care across the state. Together with the Northwell Health and Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory (CSHL), a world leader in cancer research, they have established a transformative relationship to speed the advancement of novel cancer diagnostic and therapeutic discoveries. This strategic affiliation brings together CSHL scientists with the NHCI’s more than 200 academic oncologists and clinicians, who diagnose and treat over 19,000 new cancer patients annually across the New York metropolitan area including Manhattan, Nassau County, Queens, Suffolk County, Staten Island, and Westchester County.
